Laurence Nerbonne is a Montreal-based multidisciplinary artist whose figurative paintings explore identity, desire, vulnerability and contemporary femininity. Through dramatic light, restrained colour and psychologically charged portraits, she creates intimate encounters between her subjects and the viewer.
