Introspection brings together sculpture, painting, drawing, and photographic work by Martin Rondeau in an exhibition that explores the intimate space between light, shadow, self-perception, and the echo of the ego. Including works from his Ombre series, the exhibition unfolds as a contemplative journey through memory, emotion, and inner presence.
Conceived as a resonant counterpart to Retrospection, his exhibition currently presented in Montréal at Galerie LeRoyer, Introspection turns the focus inward. Across varied mediums, Rondeau examines what is revealed, what remains obscured, and what quietly endures beneath the surface, where shadow resonates as both image and metaphor for the ego, its presence, its illusions, and its uneasy dialogue with the inner self.
