My artistic practice is rooted in a need to experiment, to feel, and to create from what surrounds me. I have always been guided by an intuitive approach in which gesture, material, and sensation play a central role.
Although my work is multidisciplinary, it revolves around recurring themes: the Earth, natural elements, the environment, and the human impact on our ecosystem. In a time where eco-anxiety is increasingly present, my approach seeks to remain optimistic, aiming to foster a dialogue between humanity and nature.
My creative process is nourished by what I absorb from my surroundings, whether it is a small detail like collecting a pinecone, the scent of spring, or the contemplation of a winter landscape. These sensory experiences settle within me before translating into gestures, movements of color, and compositions where abstraction and fragments of landscapes coexist.
I leave a significant place for instinct in my choice of media and techniques. Acrylic paint, pastel, pencil, and collage often coexist within the same work, each material contributing a distinct layer of expression. This approach also reflects my background as a sculptor, maintaining a constant need to engage with material, texture, and variation.
Through my work, I seek to give form to these inner landscapes, to those fleeting impressions that emerge from the connection between my body, my emotions, and the natural world.
